On Saturday, after our regular COPA meeting, the Platinum Triangle Poker Run advisory committee met to finalize the 2008 event and start planning for 2009. We are happy to announce that Wingham (CPR7) will be the host terminus. More details to come in the New Year!

 

 
After a fabulous summer, this weekend was the last for Anna Jean, Emily, and the crew in the Rooftop Café. But not to worry - they will be back in full force come April 2009, bringing back your favorites and as always, introducing new and tasty treats! Until then, you can visit their website or send them an email, requesting to be on their mailing list for the special events they have planned throughout the fall/winter. Plus, Emily will be baking and taking "special orders" ... details for this is on their website/email as well.
On behalf of Anna Jean, Emily, Grant, Glyneva and Rebecca, a HUGE Thank You to everyone who made their first year at the Rooftop Café fantastic!!




After a lengthy discussion, Jenn and myself have decided to suspend publication of the newsletter over the fall/winter months. There is very little aviation activity in this time period, and as well I will be out of the country for January, February and most of March. We will be back in full swing in 2009, publishing monthly from April until September.

Hopefully, by April 2009, we will positive news as to the future of our airport - we are looking forward to the ownership issue being resolved and progress in the development of our fabulous facility!

Jenn & I will see you for our year-end newsletter in December.
